The Vice-Chancellor, Kwara State University, Malete, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’Allah, has given the approval to the Mass Communication Students´ Association (MACOSA) to execute her first physical project in the University.
The President of the association, Comrade Habeeb Daranijo, made this known yesterday in an interview with our correspondent after a closed door meeting with the Director of Works, Engr. Wahab Ayinla.
He stressed that the Vice Chancellor is very happy about the new development in the association and showed keen interest in the project.
He described the project as six sets of concrete sitting slab which will be situated at the left front side of the College of Information and Communication Technology.
Daranijo explained that the project, when completed, would serve as a relaxation point for students after their lectures,
According to him, the project has been contracted to a firm working with A&K Construction Company which is handling some of the major projects in the University.
The president commended the Head of Mass Communication Department, Dr. Isiaka Aliagan, for his contribution towards the development of the association.
He then called on all students and staff of the department to keep supporting the administration for more achievements.
